Custom-Aire does the job ourselves from start to finish; ensuring the highest quality.

Does the Contractor sell major national brands of heating and cooling equipment?

Custom-Aire has been installing Carrier and other major national brands since 1969.

Does the Contractor have separate Installation and Service Departments?

Custom-Aire has 6 Installation crews, 8 factory trained Service Technicians, 2 Sheet Metal shop fabricators, and 3 support runners.

Are employees of the Contractor factory trained, and do they wear uniforms?

Our employees take continuing education classes, both in-house and by manufacturers. Custom-Aire employees are easily recognizable by their uniforms and I.D. Badges.

Does the Contractor make its own ductwork?

Custom-Aire has a sheet metal shop where we custom fabricate ductwork to your jobs exact specifications. We never use duct tape or screws because they will not last.

Does the Contractor have professional trucks?

Our trucks are clearly lettered and fully stocked. Custom-Aire has special box trucks for installations that are equipped with all the latest tools.

Does the Contractor promote quality standards above and beyond the industry standard?

Custom-Aire includes a five (5) year Parts & Labor Warranty with every qualified installation. Ten (10) year extended warranties are also available.

When writing the proposal, does the Contractor list the equipment by name, model number, BTU capacity, and the SEER rating of the air conditioning equipment?

All proposals from Custom-Aire include this information.

Does the Contractor paint the installed gas piping and refrigerant lines?

Custom-Aire does this on all installations to protect the piping from rust and deterioration.

Does the Contractor take extra measures when installing an air conditioning system?

Custom-Aire evacuates the system to < 500 microns, installs refrigerant dryers, and charges the refrigerant system to manufacturer's specifications.

When installing an 80% efficient furnace, what type of vent does the Contractor install?

Custom-Aire uses double wall "B" vent to all outside chimneys.

Does the Contractor offer references of customers in your area?

Custom-Aire will provide a list of customers we have worked for in your neighborhood upon request.

Our Mission Statement is included in every estimate packet which will be left with you at the time of your estimate.

Custom-Aire places tarps on the floor and we clean the area after every work day. We want to leave your home cleaner than we found it!

Is the Contractor a licensed electrical contractor, have a warm air installer's license, and have licenses allowing them to work throughout the counties and townships?
