This bi-annual gas, oil or heat pump Tune-Up and Cleaning for your air conditioning and heating system will cover the points listed below (not all items will apply to all systems). Our Gold Planned Maintenance program, which includes 2 seasonal inspections and labor, is also a very popular choice amongst many of our long-time customers. The Gold inspections include the thorough inspection process included in our Silver program, with the added benefit of covering any Labor costs incurred during the course of maintaining your home comfort system. Our N.A.T.E. certified service technicians will perform the following inspection
during the course of each Planned Maintenance Visit:


Check temperature drop across evaporator coil
Inspect condenser fan motor & capacitor
Check line voltage & motor amperage
Oil motors as needed
Clean drain pan (if accessible)
Check for proper drainage & clean drain lines
Inspect blower assembly
Inspect condenser fan blade
Inspect relays, contactors, controls
Inspect electronic motors
Check refrigerant charge / pressures
Install algaecide tablet in drain pan where needed (improves indoor air quality)
Clean permanent / washable air filters
Visually inspect for obvious signs of refrigerant leaks
Clean condensate pump
Clean or replace filters
Clean strainers
Clean drip pans
Clean spray headers & nozzles where needed


Check gas burners & valve
Inspect combustion chamber/Heat exchanger
Brush/vacuum heat exchanger as needed
Check chimney draft/chimney base
Inspect all controls
Inspect blower assembly
Inspect condenser fan blade
Inspect electronic motors
Check refrigerant charge/pressures
Oil motor(s) as needed
Replace standard oil nozzle
Adjust electrodes
Inspect pilot burner assembly & tubing
Inspect thermocouple
Set manifold (gas) pressure
Inspect draft inducer assembly
Inspect thermostat
Verify operation of defrost cycle
Verify operation of emergency heat
Verify all safety controls
Clean permanent / washable air filters
Replace oil filter element
Clean / replace pump strainer
Check combustion efficiency
