Custom-Aire, Inc. was born from the inspiration of president and owner, Carl Schneider, in 1969.  Carl opened the doors of Custom-Aire, Inc. on Friday, February 13, 1969.  It turned out to be good luck for him.  With the help of his wife Phyllis and his brother, Carl worked to build Custom-Aire into the successful business it is today.   Since 1969, Custom-Aire has experienced growth each year, hiring additional team members as the business continued to grow.  Carl’s two sons, Scott and Robert, have also come to Custom-Aire. to carry on the family business tradition.

The main objective of Custom-Aire is quality, and it shows in every job that we perform.  We believe that quality starts with our employees.  We believe in our employees and their workmanship.  Our technicians and installers receive factory certification and continuing education courses to keep them up-to-date with state of the art techniques to keep your equipment running smoothly.  In order to exceed the highest expectations, we use the best quality products and equipment.  We also custom fabricate all sheet metal ductwork in our sheet metal shop and bring it with us to your job site.  Care is taken every step of the way to assure that our jobs are done right the first time.
 
Custom-Aire has been an official Carrier dealer since 1969, we are also Certified Factory Authorized Carrier Dealer and have been the area’s only Distinguished Carrier Dealer since 1992.  We are very proud of the equipment we install and the people who install it.  The majority of our business comes from referrals.  Our reputation in the Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery County areas is second to none. 

Custom-Aire is here for your Planned Maintenance & emergency service needs.  We perform repairs and maintenance on all makes and models of equipment.  We are only a phone call away, 24 hours a day.  Properly maintaining your equipment will not only extend its life, but it will also save you money on your utility bills as your equipment operates more efficiently.  We have a variety of Preventative Maintenance plans for your convenience.  Our inspections include a twenty-six point inspection checklist, change of filters, condenser coils cleaned and cleaning of furnaces.  We also take the time to inspect all safety controls to be sure your equipment is operating well within safe limits.

Custom-Aire Duct Cleaning Division is serious about maintaining the health of the air you breathe at home.   We will video inspect your air ducts before and after cleaning so you can see for yourself the incredible difference! Using patented Rotobrush technology, we eliminate common indoor breathing hazards whose presence also impedes efficient operation of your heating & cooling equipment.  We can also clean your dryer vents, a common source of over 250,000 fires yearly.

Carl Schneider also currently presides on the board of directors of ACCA.
